The District.
The Michigan 7th Congressional District is one of the most competitive congressional seats in the nation. Cook Political report lists the Michigan 7th as a Republican held toss up in 2026. The district is only one of five Republican held districts that Trump carried by less than 2-percent in 2024 that Biden won in 2020. Democrats only need to net 3 seats in 2026 to gain a House majority. The Michigan 7th is critical to any majority to stop Trump’s dangerous agenda.
The Michigan 7th Congressional District is centered around Lansing, including Clinton, Eaton (majority), Ingham, Livingston, and Shiawassee Counties. The district also includes small parts of Genesee and Oakland Counties.
