7th CD Democrats Elect New Leadership

Attendance at the 7th Congressional District Caucus at the Michigan Democratic Convention on Saturday, February 22.

At the Michigan Democratic Party Convention on Saturday, February 22, the 7th Congressional District Democrats held a caucus convention to elect new leadership. More than 250 Democrats from the 7th journeyed down to Detroit, filling the room and spilling into the hallway.

In unanimous votes, credentialed Democrats voted to elect Landon Myers as Chair of the 7th Congressional District Democrats, Sheila Nicholas as Vice Chair, Dawn Levey as Treasurer, and Liam Richichi as Secretary. The newly elected executive officers are energized and ready to build a winning organization to defeat Tom Barrett and elect a Democratic U.S House majority in 2026.
